In our continuous effort in building our Great Substance Culture and delivering quality experiences for our people at work, we organised our 2nd Culture Day on the 8th of October 2016 at Taman Rimba Templer, with an array of fun activities that was set to improve the understanding and implementation of Core Value in every Great Substance employee.
Every activity was selected with a goal in mind, to improve communication and cohesiveness amongst our employees from various departments. Starting off the day, with the Balloon Popping game, the game called for a mindset change, a movement to cross barriers between departments and get to know each other better. Then, we dived into the Paintball rink for a friendly war between each group, a game set to rethink possibilities and Challenge Status Quo at work, and also for each of us to discover and understand about each other, improving the spirit of ‘family’ in .
The day continued with a 3D model presentation where very department shared their roles and responsibilities to help others understand that every employee plays a key role in the organisation while being respectful to each other and helping when needed. Through this, we discovered hidden talents in our employees through interesting and fun models that were crafted for the presentation.
The 2nd Great Substance Culture Day ended on high notes, with Mr. Lim citing that he noticed everyone became more productive and Mr. Hew mentioning that he could see colleagues are now working in different mood in a positive way.
